We’ve been home a little over 24 hours and my head is still spinning. The trip was absolutely incredible. We loved every single second of it. The cities, the sights, the people, the food, everything. I can’t even come up with any words that do it justice. Plus, I’m exhausted and not thinking straight just yet. I’ll write more about it later, but I wanted to share pictures asap. I’ll include some captions to tell part of the story.
We took over 1,200 pictures so it was VERY hard to pick. If we are Facebook friends, you can check out more photos there.
Quick notes- Petra, it was so great to spend the day with you. Thank you so much for putting up with my hangover, for being in charge of the map for the whole day, and for providing such valuable advice on all that big life stuff. You are an incredible friend. I can’t wait to come to London soon!!
Ewen, I can’t believe we missed you!!! I didn’t see your message until we got back. I would have LOVED to meet you and have a beer. I’m heartbroken!! Well, I’m sure we’ll find ourselves on the same continent again someday. :)
Ok, enjoy the pictures!

Such great pictures and a wonderful way to spend a Birthday!!
I love your pictures! :) Totally made me want to go back to Paris.
Happy belated! What a fun way to celebrate...beautiful pictures!
AMAZING photo! I would love to run in Europe! I went for a run the last time I was in Vegas and it was so cool running in a city I'm not from. Seeing new things, it's a new adventure for sure. Europe would be on a whole another scale.
Awesome photos. What a great trip and birthday.
Find me on FB! We have a lot of mutual friends. ;)
Awesome photos! Glad your trip was so amazing...you both deserved it!!
BEAUTIFUL pictures, looks like an absolutely incredible trip and a perfect way to celebrate your bday :)
Looks like an amazing time! I can only imagine! Love all the wonderful photos. THanks for sharing!
SO amazing! Love all the pictures and I'm pretty sure that's the best way to celebrate a birthday!
Wow! Looks like a fabulous birthday! Looks like you fully enjoyed yourselves!
Don't panic Jen! It was my brother and family, not me, so you don't have to be heartbroken ;) They're in Italy now, but they saw the Mona Lisa and went to the top of the Eiffel Tower. I'm still stuck here in Australia.
That was such a short holiday. I guess we Aussies take for granted our 4 weeks annual leave (+ long service leave).
Thanks for the pics - makes me want to visit - maybe in a few years time.
Wow - loved the pictures. YOu can tell you guys had a great time just by looking at the pics. And you don't look hungover in the pictures w/ Petra. :)
Happy (late) birthday again...what a great vacation.
Gorgeous pictures!!!!! We need to have a very long phone session so I can hear ALL about it! I'm so so happy you had a fabulous time and welcome to Club 30, baby!! I must say...it really is as awesome as everyone says it is.
Love and miss you! XOXO
