VOTE!

Actually, I dropped my ballot off last week. Oregon is 100% vote-by-mail so today we just get to watch the rest of the country vote. It's kind of nice because I was able to sit down and go through the ballot slowly and carefully, looking up certain measures and stuff online and reading about them. However, I kind of miss the actual act of going into the little chamber and getting the above sticker. Oh well!

I ran today:

Tuesday
12.0 miles for barack obama/1:50:00/9:10 average pace

My leg is feeling really good today, I'm glad I took yesterday off. I am planning on running all the rest of the miles this week but will play it by ear.

Happy election day everyone!! :)

It was the same for me. In Arizona, we have the option to vote by mail or in person. I voted almost three weeks ago. It sure beats standing in line. It should be quite a night.

I'm sure Barack would be very proud of your run. ;-)

Great job on the 12 miles! That is nice to be able to vote in the mail. Waiting in line wasn't too fun!

I'm sure the 12 miles helped! Nice pace as well - keep up the great work.

That's really the way to do it, no worries about waiting in line or driving in the cold rain and walking to your designated voting area... I'm moving to Oregon!

I wish we would have sent ours in b/c I like the idea of being able to research the different proposals. We did this thing online where you type in your zip and it brings up your ballot but it's interactive so you can research things right on there. Then at the end when you've made some decisions, you can print it and it looks just like the ballot and you can take it with you!
